Story
For ten years, House of Q partnered with CFOX radio in Vancouver and the Jeff O’Neil Show for the “Grills” campaign. This drive-through morning BBQ was a huge success. Listeners could drive through and see the show personalities, get some BBQ from House of Q and purchase their jars of private labelled Jeff O’Neil Show BBQ Sauce. For a few years of that campaign, this Rock’n Red 2.0 BBQ Sauce was THE sauce for the show!
Description
Rock’n Red 2.0 BBQ Sauce is a spicier version of our tangy tomato-and-vinegar-based BBQ sauce. Rock’n Red 2.0 BBQ Sauce is a classic Carolina-style red BBQ sauce with a little more heat than our Backyard Classic BBQ Sauce. It provides a subtle hint of smoke and good portion of peppery heat.
Common Applications
Rock’n Red 2.0 BBQ Sauce is fabulous with beef, including roasts, burgers or steaks, as well as a glaze on chicken or pork. It can be used as a dipping sauce for sausages or vegetables, and it`s incredibly tasty on grilled fish.
Other Uses
Add a few drops to your clam and tomato juice for a Rock’n Caesar Cocktail – it adds surprisingly great flavour!
Ingredients
Sugars (sugar, brown sugar, molasses), White vinegar, Tomato paste, Water, Worcestershire sauce (distilled vinegar, molasses, corn syrup, water, salt, caramel colour, garlic, sugar, spices, anchovies, tamarind, natural flavour), Lemon juice, Salt, Apple cider vinegar, Paprika, Onion, Garlic, Black Pepper, Chili Powder, Liquid Smoke, Spices (contains mustard).
