Story
Apple Butter BBQ Sauce started at home with 40 pounds of apples. We peeled, cored, and then simmered them with molasses, brown sugar, cinnamon and rum – to name just some of the ingredients. Our first batch was pressure-canned, just like Mom taught us, and we debuted it at BBQ competitions. It must have been good, because we won awards when we used it!
Description
Apple Butter BBQ Sauce is a sweet, thick, smoky BBQ sauce with an aroma of apples, cinnamon and molasses. Its flavour is balanced between tangy bite and spice, with a texture like smooth apple sauce.
Common Applications
Perfect for glazing grilled chicken, pork ribs, chops or tenderloin. Awesome condiment on anything grilled or wanting a rich BBQ sauce flavour.
Other Uses
Simmered in sautéed onions or used in hand-made burgers or meatloaf.

Sugars (fancy molasses, brown sugar, honey), Apple puree, Tomato paste, Apple juice concentrate, water, Apple cider vinegar, Canola oil, Worcestershire sauce (distilled vinegar, molasses, corn syrup, water, salt, caramel colour, garlic, sugar, spices, anchovies, tamarind, natural flavour), Liquid smoke, Lemon juice, Salt, Onion, Garlic, Spices.

One of the best and most versatile bbq sauces I have ever used – and I’ve used many others. Great as a slather, glaze or for dipping. Also really good when mixed with Rock ‘n Red and Sugar & Spice.
Love this BBQ sauce, my favourite for many recipes especially my “Tailgate Baked Beans”….this BBQ sauce makes the beans amazing!
