Use the Award-Winning Apple Butter BBQ Sauce!

This Apple Butter Onion recipe is easy to do and they taste awesome wherever you use them! These can be used IN a dish, ON a burger or steak and have even been used as an appetizer with crackers and cheese.

Apple Butter Onions

4-6               Onions – peeled, sliced
3-4 TB         Butter
½ – 1 Cup    House of Q Apple Butter BBQ Sauce

Sauté the sliced onions in butter until soft but not browned for about 20 minutes.  Add the Apple Butter BBQ Sauce and simmer uncovered for another 15-20 minutes.  The mixture will get thick as it simmers.
