One of the notable BBQ competitions in USA is the annual Memphis in May.  Through 2016 and into 2017 BBQ Brian helped a Mexican team called the Insomniacs from Hermosillo by teaching and coaching them all about BBQ.  The team ventured to compete at the prestigious Memphis in May event.  His personal entry for competition BBQ sauce placed 17th amongst 350 different entries and the team finishes 33rd out of 90 for pork shoulder.
